The Motortechno Show - A bit of background...
The motorseed was first planted by the Rodfather over two years ago. After meeting the guys from freakin at free parties around York, the first show was aired on May bank holiday weekend 2005, 6 months after the Freakin station itself went live. After a year with Rod at the helm, Tom and Ricky joined the motorfray in early 2006. Since then things have centralised in Manchester, where the show is now broadcast from, week in week out. The show not only gives us an outlet for our music musings, but is a platform to promote nights and talent as well as a timely 2 hours of house and techno to round off the weekend. We try to keep show as varied and diverse as possible while remaining within the Motortechno boundaries. Our track selection, guest mixes and other features span the entire techno spectrum and its many bearings, as well as sifting the sands of house and electro.
